It is used. No issues software or hardware wise. Only potentional issue is the screen at times can fall back some but we are talking a quarter of an inch. Most would not even notice it. I took it to the Apple Store and they toldco me it will not be an issue. And of course with any used computer battery can be an issue. It works perfectly for me. I am just using my iPad much more now.
