I like to listen to podcasts in my car when I drive. And I'm also a bit of a history buff.
So when I came across the Dan Carlin "Hardcore History" podcasts I was curious. I now have listened to two series and WOW! its good stuff.
Carlin is an amateur but competent historian, the the real selling point is in the great way he tells these stories. He brings to mind an American version of Simon Winchester.
I highly recommend these two series: "Ghosts of the Ostfront" (4 episodes) & "Wrath of the Khans" (5 episodes)
Remember - It's important to be comfortable in your own skin... because it turns out society frowns on wearing other people's
