Just got home and tuned into the world baseball classic on espn2. The broadcast is in effin Spanish. WTF?
If I want to listen in Spanish I'll tune to Univision .

ESPN is under financial stress from what I understand. Maybe an English speaking broadcast team didn't make financial sense?

The brass at ESPN probably though PR was going to crush the US and expected a larger Spanish speaking audience.

Um, cuz beisbol is about as exciting as watching golf? Now that the Cubbies have finally gotten off the schneid, there's even less reason for anyone to pay attention.

I thought you were going to go off on the pregnant hostess. She looks so uncomfortable sitting but if she gives birth on TV it could drive up ratings.

Anything to draw attention from the 'action' on the field... Even just training the TV camera on some random hot chick in the stands would be a far better use of time to look at.
