There is a janky looking reseller that has it listed for $2.65 on Amazon with free shipping. I'm going to give that a shot and if it doesn't work out I'll just get Amazon to refund my money.

very cool. separate question. do you stay in aero position when you pull out bottle to drink? I have profile design solution with straw and mostly stay in aero with that but just wondering how you/others do that with bottle.

true. but then again, a few strips of duct tape would be cheaper still.

I'm just pointing out an off-the-shelf solution that I don't believe existed before (first time I'd seen the Bell-brand mount), and the rubbery base/straps combo really holds tight- like kung-fu death grip strong.
