I got curious and looked up the info on that Tri. The distances are not what one would consider a normal Olympic distance.

Swim - 1000 meters (.62miles)
Bike 20 miles
Run - 6 miles (not a 10k, but 6 miles).

That would explain the 12:xx minutes for the top finisher times for the swim. Doesn't explain the difference in times between last year and this year though (unless she had issues during the swim and had to park it on a kayak or something).

I was informed she purchased her road bike at TOP CYCLE PALM BEACH that cat sell premier tranche rides and rented her girl friend a SEVEN CYCLES full Campy Record WOW! I go past there always rockin kick ass music coming out like IRON MAIDEN.
