That is just wrong, especially for an Ultra race. Ran my first Ultra and just happened to run 17 hours with someone I had never met before, never did it cross my mind to try to drop him at any point. We crossed the finish line together and could not see it any other way. Ultras have such a different vibe than a marathon or a triathlon dropping someone at the very end deserves a lifetime ban.
