It's weird how Watson and Crick are more celebrated than Wilkins and Franklin. My guess is that W/C won the Nobel for their work while the others did not.

The Nobel prize is only awarded to live people. By the time the DNA discovery was awarded the Nobel prize, Franklin had been dead for 4 years, so would not have been considered for the Nobel.
