Tyler Hamilton wind tunnel

Stumbled across this site with photos from a wind tunnel session in 2000. Anyone know the back story? Whatever he did in 2000, it served him well in the Dauphine.

Doesn't even look remotely legal with regards to current UCI rules. Too much reach, too much angle on the extensions and saddle too far forward. A hybrid mantis-superman position looking pretty fast.

Saddle nose looks 5cm behind the BB top me. He's short so the long reach is probably legal. And they didn't restrict bar angle back then.

This was his medal winning position in Sydney in 2000.
