I have a 36t absolute black ring if you're interested. I will say that in my experience, the ovalized rings just act like a smaller ring. So a 36t feels about like a 34t in terms of how steep the road can be before you're overgeared. But in both cases, the main drawback is the effect on shifting quality, and the ovalized rings are worse than just having a big gap (e.g. running 52/34). That's why I don't use this one any more. That, and hard efforts on changing grades when you're switching between round and oval feel bad.
