Pro race starts at 9:45 PST (in about 23 minutes). AG starts at 10:00 PST.

Agree - haven't found any live coverage at all - not even the athlete tracker on ironman.com, nothing listed at the top of the web page either.

ETA - found a link - http://m.eu.ironman.com/...ealand&year=2017

Thanks! Crazy that the U.S. site doesn't have this?

I know - it is crazy!

Looks like AG start is in about 5 min. More chop than usual for the swim start than usual the past few years. Forecast has 18 k/h wind out of the west during the morning, so should be a fast run up to Reporoa, but slower on the return.

Looks like a tough swim today for Lake Taupo (due to the wind chop) - I think Glah did a sub 54 in 2015. Looks like only one guy out in under an hour in M4549.

Yeah he was definitely sub 54 in 2015 as he and I were riding close to each other for most of the way out to Reporoa. Swim times this year look a little slow as there are lots of people swimming 5 to 6 mins slower than they usually do.
