Dura Ace 11-spd bar end shifters hard to shift?
In the process of building up a new bike and got the Dura Ave 11-spd bar end shifters. Although they have the full range, they are extremely hard to click/shift. Is this typical of a new/11 spd set (I've only previously reinstalled used 10 spd sets)?

Any suggestions?

Yes they are hard to shift --probably an underhanded attempt by shimano to force us into Di2.

I just upgraded from MicroShift 11 speed to Dura Ace 11 speed. The Dura Ace do not fee significantly more difficult to shift than the MicroShift. They might click more assuredly, but I did not notice anything materially different. I would rate them pretty much the same.

Using new or old cable housing? Have any bends in your cabling or housing? Weird routing?

My bar end shifters were horrible until I replaced the housing.
