I've been taking Primidone for Essential Tremors for at least 5 years now. A year ago I came down with a blood clot and was on Xarelto blood thinner for 6 months. 2 months later I got a clot in my other leg. Shortly after that I discovered that the Primidone I was taking for ET was interfering with the Xarelto.

I stopped taking Primidone since the ET wasn't life threatening and started taking an over the counter supplement DHA. I'm happy to say that it works just as good as the primidone. I take 2 300-mg tablets in the morning and one at night and my hands are pretty solid.

Without medication I can't read my own writing and have trouble eating foods from a spoon or fork, so I have ET pretty bad. Glad I found this solution.
