By the way, those evil Iranians have absolutely mobbed the US team the entire tournament. They love them, especially Jordan Burroughs.

Also, the US 97kg wrestler, Kyle Snyder, is the reigning Olympic and World champion. He's also a junior at Ohio State...

Iran seems to be perennially good at Wrestling. Is wrestling akin to being Iran's national sport?

Remember - It's important to be comfortable in your own skin... because it turns out society frowns on wearing other people's

I'm guessing it is their best sport. The teams here include Azerbaijan, Turkey, India, Georgia...

No, it was David Taylor (aka the Unicorn (don't ask)). Taylor actually pinned Yazdanicharati.

Are Taylor, Burroughs and Dake all in the same weight class or has Dake or Taylor moved up for good?

They were all in 74kg a couple of years ago. Taylor realized he couldn't beat Dake, so he moved up. Dake realized he couldn't beat Burroughs, so he moved up, too. Then Cox showed up, and Dake couldn't quite beat him (Cox was cutting to get down, and Dake was likely a bit undersized). So Dake moved back down after Burroughs lost at the Olympics; he figures that Burroughs might not have a free pass to the Olympic/World Trials finals, and so Dake might have a better chance to beat him. At a recent Trials, Dake had to wrestle 4-5 matches (against Taylor, among others) in one day, then faced Burroughs who hadn't wrestled at all.

Dake and Burroughs are both now at 74kg. Dake recently won the Paris Open at that weight, beating Deiringer; Taylor won at 86kg.
