TrainerRoad - 2 x Base or 2 x Build?

Last year, I used TrainerRoad for the 2nd half of my season(2 Sprints & a climbing Gran Fondo) and had really great success.

This year, I'm stepping up to the Olympic distance with my A race in late July. I've decided to go with the TrainerRoad plans again this year as they've worked well for me.

Given the time I have until July, I have 2 options:

Option 1 (2 Builds)
Low Volume Olympic Base
Mid Volume Olympic Build
Mid Volume Olympic Build
Mid Volume Olympic Speciality

or

Option 2 (2 Bases)
Low Volume Olympic Base
Mid Volume Olympic Base
Mid Volume Olympic Build
Mid Volume Olympic Speciality

I'm not sure which of these options to choose or what the pros/cons would be to repeat a build or base? Help!?

Had this issue last year. Idk if our time frame is exact but they basically recommend to repeat the specialty faze if you finish the entire program before your A race.

I would stay away from back to back build plans... Erring on the side of more base is always a good option, but if you want the second build, I would do Build, Base, Build, Specialty.
