Last year, I used TrainerRoad for the 2nd half of my season(2 Sprints & a climbing Gran Fondo) and had really great success.
This year, I'm stepping up to the Olympic distance with my A race in late July. I've decided to go with the TrainerRoad plans again this year as they've worked well for me.
Given the time I have until July, I have 2 options:
Option 1 (2 Builds)
Low Volume Olympic Base
Mid Volume Olympic Build
Mid Volume Olympic Build
Mid Volume Olympic Speciality
or
Option 2 (2 Bases)
Low Volume Olympic Base
Mid Volume Olympic Base
Mid Volume Olympic Build
Mid Volume Olympic Speciality
I'm not sure which of these options to choose or what the pros/cons would be to repeat a build or base? Help!?
