The problem with the entire fiasco is that the White House already knew that Flynn had discussed the sanctions in January. They had been told by Justice Dept and Sally Yates. But according to Trump on Feb 10, he knew nothing about Flynn discussing sanctions. And according to Spicer, senior officials had been “reviewing and evaluating this issue on a daily basis, trying to ascertain the truth." What truth was needed when they already knew everything about the phone calls? The only thing they were afraid of was a leak of Flynn's conversations. So it's all the fault of the media.

NYTimes says multiple members of Trump campaign had discussions with Senior Russian intelligence officials.

That said, coverage has been disappointing to me; while I'm happy to see a media that is taking a POTUS to task, there has been horribly biased reporting in plenty of instances.

This is all an orchestrated plan and has been for the past 2 years. He has repeatedly gone out of his way to paint the media as the enemy. His campaign was a constant reminder that the media are liars and can't be trusted. Now when things get tough, he plays the same card and he thinks he can justify it by saying that he has repeated the same thing for years, he must be right.

The media is biased on the left but that has nothing to do with the recent events. It's not the media's fault that they report on him criticizing Federal judges or that they report that the intelligence community has been concerned of months about senior Trump officials contact with the Russians. The media hasn't had to inject their opinions because Trump's own words and actions are convicting himself.

Trump is at war with the media, a war he started and has every intent on keeping going because it suits his own interest. Think of all the things going on in the world and he is spending a good majority of his time ranting about the media. It's nuts.
