Stem attachment Garmin Mounts? Any good?
I'm upgrading to a Garmin Edge 520 and want a nice sleek looking mount for it for my road bike (2012 S-Works Venge) I'd like the Garmin to be centered on the handlebars and have seen mounts (like the Enve one below) which use the stem bolts.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of having this type of mount instead of the standard "out front" style mount that attaches to your handlebar and uses a plastic arm?

The only down to try to run the enve stem mount is that you must have the enve stem!!! The spacing has been gapped in a way only their stem works right at 21.5mm

I was able to find a shorty 75mm enve stem for 80 bucks and it was a no brainer at that point to buy the enve stem mount!

Any ither general size that you're looking for on the enve stem, and you'll be spending quite a bit of $$$ to make that work!

Ebay has the adjustable ones that cost less than 40 bucks qhich would've been the option I'd gone if i hadn't gottwn kucky with my enve stem.

Speed kills unless you have speed skills!!!
