Amen who can live without beans and rice. Many cultures have a version, I've been trying my hand at some of the more offbeat ones.

Our menu tonight...

BBQ spare ribs off the pressure cooker, finished on the BBQ. Boston brown beans w/alder smoked bacon... oh and a salad to reduce the guilt phase. ;)

Pan fried chicken breasts with special spice mix....
Jasmin rice from the cooker.
Sauteed green beans (savory, dill, salt pepper).
Some korean BBQ sauce for dipping.

Rode 4 hrs today and we didn't feel like standing around in the kitchen for hours.

Almost forgot:
A glass of Italian Chianti or two.
