looking for some data....
Out of curiosity I am looking to see some data. My resting heart rate is low but I think it is high when running.
Went to doctor and he said nothing to worry about....

age - 45
5'10"
195lbs
resting HR - 50 +/-
11 mile run - 8:30 pace
av HR - 157
max - 170+

I can peg 170+ average running 5 - 10km race pace.

I am 51 years old and my heart rate is usually at 178 when running. Relax.

Max heart rate is an individual thing. I'm several years older than you, but I can hit 192bpm when doing VO2 max intervals.

Last year when I was 47 I did some run work and hit 202. Bike is 198. Haven't done a max HR test this year though.

As a resting HR, 50 is not particularly low. This is bragging, but it's true: when I was your age, my resting HR was 37 and my max around 180. My brother, who is a better endurance athlete than I am, had a resting HR of 50 and a max of 200. Lots of individual variation.

You might want to pay some attention to the weight however.
