Polar M600, Android Wear 2.0, and Strava Updates

Polar just announced updates for their M600 series allow users to download an operate apps from the Google Play store directly on the M600 series watches. Through Google Assistant, M600 users can now add customized watch faces, notifications, and reply to texts, etc...

The M600 also added swimming metrics will expand it from runner's only watch. The swim updates also are said detect they type of swim stroke (not tested however) and have reported to have improved battery life to 36 hours. Those who aren't familiar with the M600, its a sleeker version of the V800 but with optical hr that is reported to be more accurate than most on the market. Updates should be available in early spring.

To go with the Polar and Android updates, Strava followed suit now allowing users of Android Wear 2.0 apps to record and upload activities directly to Strava without the need for their mobile devices. All that is required is users to install the Strava app for their Android Wear 2.0 device.
