In the past six months I've purchased three pairs of shoes directly from Bont: Vaypor Plus, Vaypor XC, and Riot. In all three cases, I was informed *after* placing my order that the shoes were *out of stock* and it would take "4-5 weeks" for them to ship. In fairness, their website never says "in stock" but the way things are presented it's very easy for one to assume that the shoes are in stock. It appears that, if you order direct, the shoes are made to order.

Second order of business is to compare Bont's "wide" last to their "Asian" last which is advertised as "wider than normal but narrower than wide with less volume and a narrow heel." I'll try to take pictures tomorrow but here's what I can say: if the Asian last is wider than normal it's barely wider. Maybe 5mm wider in a size 45.
