+1 , and also have the Ride in rotation for z1-z2 long runs. Actually raced in the Ride last year at IMNC - I really liked the way they felt during longer mileage.

Kinvara is a great shoe. The Kinvara 4 may have been the greatest shoe of all time

Agree completely, Loved the 4. Went through 3 pairs of them and finally did get a pair of 7's. Not bad, but not 4's.

I am alternating right now between the 7's and a pair of ON Running shoes. I do like them, they are so damn light.

Used to train in Ride 8 and 9, raced in Kinvara's or Peregrine if crosstriathlon/trailrun.
Switched to Asics Dynaflyte for long runs just a month back and haven't really felt the urge to go back to my saucony fanboy-ism.

Kinvaras here too. I usually pick up the previous year's model at about 50% off. I also have some Type A racing flats for stand alone 5k or 10k races.
