If I recall correctly, it was not, although I did see a few people wearing them.

It had been the two previous years...i think they put on a pretty good race there.

Wetsuit legal 2011 thru 2015

Last year, water was 82 degrees

I was there in 2016 and it was not wetsuit legal. Some people did wear them but referees were walking around taking down race numbers so they were not eligible for awards.

As far as I know this was the first time the race was not wetsuit legal.
