Respectfully, this isn't really a question for LR lawyers but a question for a local school law specialist. If you haven't hired one at this point, you probably need to at least get in for a consultation.

In my non lawyer opinion, I suggest you don't look to the internet triathlon forum but look at a local recommended lawyer. There are some good stuff here if you need a lawyers basic advice, but this is serious and you need to have a good 1-2 hour talk to a lawyer to see if you have a case.
