Sidebar: is it media bias to report on the story as the President promoting "debunked claims," or is that objective reporting? I've never heard the term used on Fox, but it's the header on nearly every story on CNN and MSNBC. It's been refuted, which seems to me the most objective way to phrase it.

Maybe media bias firmly grounded in fact?

The only reason anyone is talking about this is that Trump is insecure about not having won the popular vote and is trying to construct a reality in which he did.

It's the same thing as with the inauguration crowds: they've got to be bigger than Obama's for no other reason than Trump's ego demands it. Despite the fact that everyone can easily compare photos and can see the empty bleachers on the parade route, he insists on continually bringing up the size of his crowd.
