No doubt the injuries were a key part of the game but the big Mo could've helped with some of that. If Kuhn-lite holds on to the ball and GB scores it would've been 10-7 and stopped Atlanta's momentum. It would've been a track meet and in the end GB would most likely lose but at least it would've been a good game to watch. Did Clay Matthews even suit up?Agreed. Even worse, if Crosby hits his chip shot FG, it is 10-10. Packers had to play perfect to win the game. Why? B/c their D is decimated by injury. Rodgers wasn't a Jedi today, but there were dropped balls as well. Ripkowski had to run the ball b/c Montgomery was injured, which lead to Rip's fumble.
Matthews is playing with one arm. His shoulder is partially separated and has a muscle tear down to his chest. He has less than 1/2 strength in one arm. As an outside LB who spins and twists, he is very ineffective with this injury. He needs surgery.
Atlanta is the better team. Packers had to be perfect. They were far from it.
