I think future man fucks up the planet from over population but gains the technology to travel back in time.

So we devise a plan to send billions back in time to populate the planet "before man existed" but somebody fucked up the date and sent us back to the dinasour times.

The people freaked out and nuked all the dinos.

Or there was a war or something. Maybe a war against sleestacks.

Time travel does contradict any possible and plausible theories quantum physicists have come up with (and pretty much every genius in the field has looked into that).

And I don't think mankind is getting any smarter....so fat chance.

Its probably posted on the net somewhere, but when exactly did man and nature become separate? In other words, when do scientists say humans were not part of the environment anymore? Just curious.

Well I think the debate is over whether human predation vs. climate change (or some combination of the two) killed off the megafauna is places like Australia or the Americas. I don't think anyone is saying humans aren't part of the environment.

Pleistocene megafauna" aren't dinosaurs

They're mastodons, mammoths, giant ground sloths, etc.

And we didn't kill them, we turned them into household items

Martin starred the debate roughly 40 years ago (God I am old and I got to watch the debatess at the svp meetings) on the north american mega fauna extinction. Probably became accepted in the early 2000s.
Yeah pretty much accepted that humans hunted down the big shit to extinction.

Q: How does Randymart run over a dino?

A: He climbs up its tail, run to its head, and slide down its trunk.

Go show daddy!
