Let it ride? Or take the money and run?
A guy bet $300 on the Packers when they were 4-6. He's let it ride every week since. He's currently up to $28,000... and he's letting it ride.

Me? I never would have made it this far. But there's no way I would let this ride.

Funny thing is, when this kind of topic comes up the options seem to be take the money or let it ride? Why not do both? Take $14,000. That's a nice win. Place $14,000 on the Packers to "let it ride". But what do I know?

I was thinking the same thing, put half in your wallet and let the other half ride.

What's the fallacy of it?

It's your money. You won it. If you lose it you are losing your money.

It's what people with gambling problems tell themselves to sleep better at night.
