I'll add one more battle of chosin on Netflix. It a documentary about the Korean war. I learned a lot and it kept my attention.

Super League tri. It's more exciting than long-course tri from a spectator perspective... they put on a pretty good show.

They're good quality educational/documentary shows about various subjects -- astrophysics one week, WWII the next, aerodynamics of peregrine falcons the next, et al. They usually go about 45 minutes and complement a pre-work ride to get the brain working without too many explosions and chase scenes.
For evening workouts, I like ... explosions and chase scenes.
