I'm 1/6th of the way to my million dollars.
If you pick all 42 bowl game winners on ESPN.com you win $1,000,000 dollars. I'm already 7-0 so...
41-1 and would really stink.
I've calculated some odds based on my entry...
To make it to 8-0 like me: ~1% chance (and I did it!)
Given that I'm 8-0 the likelihood I'll get to 17-0: ~1% chance
Odds of 42-0 given my picks: 5.36E-08% chance*
Odds of 42-0 given my picks and my 8-0 start: 5.16E-06%**
*That means for every ~2 billion times playing I should expect to win once.
**That means if I get to this point ~2 billion times I should expect to win ~100 times.
