He's out of surgery and everything went fine.

Thanks everyone.

Does this surgeon charge for his services, or does he just take tips?

Glad to hear it all went well!

Hopefully you got to it before it began to stink. Have a co-worker with the exact same issue. Didn't take, and STUNK to high heaven in the process.

My son said it smelled bad "right here..." yesterday, but I couldn't smell it.

Maybe it was just starting to. My sense of smell is shot (either from huffing gas fumes or brain damage).

That's nuts!!

A friend of mine lost the tip of his finger to a grinding wheel years back. The end was so mashed up that the tip healed in a bizarre way; almost with a flared and flat, anvil or inverted bell shaped end. I was trying to empathize with him after it healed and he said "Hey, it's not all bad, the flat part is perfect for getting the last of the yogurt out of the bottom corners of those individual yogurt cups at lunch!"

Talk about looking at the bright side.

Hope the little guy makes a quick recovery.

Long Chile was a silly place.

Yep - that's where I recycled the old, tired joke from.
