I live in a small 2 bedroom apt and have 2 kids. I got the Neo and it's very quiet, especially coming from a computrainer. I often ride before the kids get up and set up in the kitchen. The downside is the weight and moving it around. I think the kikr 2 has a good handle to carry it around. The neo is really annoying to fold up and put away. Also, it's really heavy so hopefully you don't have to move it far. It packs away well and has a lot of great features like being controlled by trainer road. Best training tool I have by far.

Well, thank you Slowtwitchers for your advice. I took it, and I have now been on my Neo for 5 weeks now. I love it, and have zero complaints. The neighbors downstairs have no idea when I'm riding because it's quiet, and I love the way it feels.

Bang on point...the Neo measures 5-6 db quieter than the Kickr2... it might not seem like much but db don't measure linear... a 10db difference is perceived as being 2x as loud...
