I dunno. She ran against him and he said a number of inappropriate, personally insulting things about her. It probably massages his ego to have her begging for a job in his administration despite that and I imagine he'd get a kick out of having her as an underling for the same reasons. Probably doesn't matter who gets the job though since trump's apparently only going to occasionally take intelligence briefings.
