In the past I've used the included GoPro software but I've discovered two major limitations. 1) I want to incorporate footage from my (non-GoPro) camcorder and the GoPro software doesn't recognize the .MTS file format, which means I have to get a converter and convert it all to MP4 before I can edit it. Massive PITA. 2) the GoPro software is pretty limited in terms of manipulating and editing audio tracks.
I'm not a Mac user so iMovie is probably out. Anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks
For windows id suggest adobe premiere elements if youre a casual user.
who's smarter than you're? i'm!
Movie Maker for Widows - free and does the basic, cut and paste clips and photos together, add some music and titles, speed up and slow down videos.
I love my GoPro but it takes a tremendous amount of time to stitch several videos and clips together.
I have used GoPro's in my business for the last 5 years or so, and I abandoned their software a long time ago. Windows Movie Maker or Adobe Premiere Pro is your best route.
Gonna give Adobe a try. I messed around with Movie Maker and I don't think it's sophisticated enough to do what I want.
