For those who love Jose Bautista

He's having a tough time finding teams that would be willing to give up a 1st round pick to sign him after he rejected the Jays qualifying offer (1 year/$17.2 millions).

Baltimore's GM told his agent that "we can't sign him because our fans and players hate him". One has to think that Texas holds the same opinion.

He met with the Jays yesterday. Hopefully their offer is much lower than the qualifying offer that he rejected.

How does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?

Isn't his production way down too? Some team will be dumb enough to throw stupid money at him but they would be stupid to do so.

I'm not sure how I feel right now, I have a feeling we're going to lose EE so having his bat in the line up could be a good thing "IF" he can get back in form, if he can't....

It was down a bit but he was injured and missed about a third of the season. So given that, it wasn't down that much.

The biggest issue is can he stay healthy? He seems to be breaking down.

If he played a full season last year he was on pace for 30 HR, 96 RBI. Not terrible. His average\OBP\Slug were all slightly down.

He still takes a shit ton of walks.

No arm any more though. I wouldn't want him playing RF. 1B, LF or DH is what he can handle now.

I've read that the Dodgers are interested. And the Jays. That's about it.

I was thinking the same thing. It might include his mother, but not sure where it goes from there.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

Maybe he'll pull a 2016 Dexter Fowler. Fowler rejected a qualifying offer for $15+ only to sign with the Cubs for a 1-year, $13.

Meh, if he was hitting 40 HRs for your team you'd tollerate his antics.

And signing on a TriSwing for that? Ok...
