I won't say where Mirinda lives, but the trailhead they ran from is the Fourmile creek trail head off Lee Hill road and Broadway.

Similar area would be the section of town North of Iris Ave and West of Broadway, north to where Broadway joins with 36 as you head out of town.

The body of water that you can see is Wonderland Lake. Looks like she ran south on the west side of the lake and then north on the dam on the east side. (To give you an idea of the area).

Its a beautiful area and one that I'm lucky to live in. My kids learned how to ride their striders on those very trails.

This is a map of the running area.

House Prices are$450k+. Most are $800k+.
The ones that are <$200k are part of the affordable housing program

Pros
Its more quiet than the rest of Boulder
Great running Trails
Great Access to Climbs (Sunshine Canyon, Linden, Lee Hill, WagonWheel, OldeStage) are right there.
OK Hiking
Great access to the North and the East for Riding
You can Literally run to Boulder Res and beyond on non-technical Dirt (ie great long runs)

Cons
Its the beginning of the last Gentrification area of Boulder (Cons depending on how you view that).
Traveling anywhere toward South Boulder, Denver, Golden etc is more travel time than you expect.
The area was hit hard by the Flood a few years back. (Our neighborhood barely made it).

That's an older video; they have a place in a pricey subdivision nearby : https://www.google.com/...d-105.288723!5m1!1e3

There's a recent thread on their "cribs" video.

They deserve a little more privacy than posting their personal address on a triathlon forum don't you think? Their actual address or google mapped lot has no relevance to the OP's question.

Point taken; I moved the "pin" to the middle of the subdivision.

Looks like the neighborhood just SW of 47th and Jay. But I could be wrong, a lot of the high density new development looks the same.

They don't live there any longer, but out of respect for privacy will leave the locations out of this thread. But I will say that if you're looking for a home. FWIW, the OCTOBER 2016 Single Family Home stats in Boulder--the AVERAGE Sales price is $1,041,917--with the Median Sales Price at $791,000. Inventory was at 197.

Compare to Longmont (the best value at this time), where inventory was at 180. The Average Sales Price of $413,461...with the Median Sales price of $365,000. Boulder is only a 15-20 drive South...all the same primary biking roads for most triathletes are between these two towns (mostly are country & nice pavement). Longmont is NOT next to the mountains like Boulder, but it is only a short drive via bike to get there.

An "attached" dwelling in Boulder will cost $447,472 while Longmont is $312,699 (Average Sales Price), with the Median Sales Price of $400,000 for Boulder/$293,000 for Longmont.

There are other areas such as Lyons, Superior and Erie, but the areas do not quite offer as much for the triathlete as Longmont and Boulder does overall. Traffic in both places has increased dramatically the last 10 years (true from other threads). However, you can either get cranky about it or just deal with it and call it the new norm. Either place has awesome views and about everything you need...trails, pools, close to the mountains and great biking roads. Just avoid the busy streets & ride smart/safely.
Hope this helps!
