I won't say where Mirinda lives, but the trailhead they ran from is the Fourmile creek trail head off Lee Hill road and Broadway.
Similar area would be the section of town North of Iris Ave and West of Broadway, north to where Broadway joins with 36 as you head out of town.
The body of water that you can see is Wonderland Lake. Looks like she ran south on the west side of the lake and then north on the dam on the east side. (To give you an idea of the area).
Its a beautiful area and one that I'm lucky to live in. My kids learned how to ride their striders on those very trails.
This is a map of the running area.

The ones that are <$200k are part of the affordable housing program
Pros
Its more quiet than the rest of Boulder
Great running Trails
Great Access to Climbs (Sunshine Canyon, Linden, Lee Hill, WagonWheel, OldeStage) are right there.
OK Hiking
Great access to the North and the East for Riding
You can Literally run to Boulder Res and beyond on non-technical Dirt (ie great long runs)
Cons
Its the beginning of the last Gentrification area of Boulder (Cons depending on how you view that).
Traveling anywhere toward South Boulder, Denver, Golden etc is more travel time than you expect.
The area was hit hard by the Flood a few years back. (Our neighborhood barely made it).
