I did 1x on a Shiv TT. No problems, though I did notice that SRAM says ETap isn't compatible with the Shiv. I am running a pretty crazy setup with Campy chain and cassette, Ceramic Speed pulleys, and a SRAM narrow-wide chain ring. Everything seems to play well together.

Just wanted to followup and confirm that you haven't had any issues storing the blip box in the space reserved for the fuelselage? No issues with the wireless transmissions or the blip box overheating?

Also, do you just let the blip box dangle from the 4 wires? How do you keep it from getting scratched up?

Do I have to be concerned with the blip box falling into the frame?

Any mount ideas for that area?

Thanks in advanced for the input.

I've never missed a shift with the blip box inside the frame.

I've used various methods of securing the box and they have had various levels of effectiveness. The latest method that is probably the most secure is electrical taping the box to the plastic cover before screwing the cover back on. I had to put the box on its edge so it would fit but I don't think it is going anywhere.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm going to move mine. I wish there was a silicone sleeve or something that I could put the blip box in to protect it before I put it in the frame.

Ha, I used a rubber glove for a while and then a piece of packing foam. Good luck!

I finally got around to doing the install. I got the blips installed on the basebar and extensions. I may still use the Clics which I am waiting on but should be here this week. I am hoping I dont have to replace the extensions with the clics they are a little short with the loss of the mech shifters. The blip grips fit in my hands well but the blip is then back by my middle finger. If I turn them in then my thumbs are to close unless I turn the extensions out some. Clics seem like the best place to put them on the bar ends at least for me.

I am excited about having base bar shifters and magura brakes without having to cobble together a DI2 shifter.
