Wheelset for Chattanooga 70.3 ?
So coming from pancake flat to >>> Chattanooga, I hear it is fairly hilly. A bit concerning as my hill training will be limited to non-existent. How many disks are out there at the 70.3 ? Any and if so did they / you pay the price? What are people using? Guess my next concern will be the run. What's the word there?
Thanks in advance all!

It's a rolling course but nothing crazy. There are a couple steepish segments, particularly at the turn onto Andrews Rd, but they are mostly pretty short. You're going to be much better of with a disc.

Don't drown. Don't crash. Don't walk.

Are you asking about World's? If the course resembles the current 70.3 course, it is flat/rolling. No real nasty hills/climbs.

However, Chattanooga is beautifully nestled in a river valley, & if they deviate from the current 70.3 course there could be some fun climbing in the worlds race.

Regardless, my vote is 808/disc or something comparable.

If you are M30-34 then I probably would not run a disc. :)

I'd recommend front and rear Super-9 NSWs.

Can only comment on the 70.3 course, granted i ride a lot of hills, it's definitely not "hilly" Went 2:38 which was not that much slower than flat Miami 70.3 where I went 2:26. As noted, mostly rollers with 1 climb on Andrews which will take all of a minute to get up and the climb out of Chickamauga which is not nearly as steep,

Always disc

The 70.3 run was hillier than I expected though. Couple nasty sections
