For sale is a set of Bontrager Aeolus 6.5 carbon clincher wheelset 8,9,10 speed compatible (700c). Wheels are very fast and in great shape, only used for races 3-4 times a year. Wheels are being sold as is, tires/tubes/etc will NOT be included. Selling as I recently upgraded to a new set race wheels and don't have room or need for this set in the stable.

Price is $600 obo + shipping.

NOTE - These are HED wheels that have been re-branded as Bontrager.

After some searching on the interwebs this morning, I have yet to find anything conclusive with respect to weight ratings. Having said that, I am pushing 190+ with all of my gear and have never had an issue.

This was Bontrager's main wheel offering at the time, so I would be surprised if there was a major weight restriction on them, but don't have any evidence to say one way or the other.

im 225 and i have had no problems with these same model of wheels. Rode them for years and never had to true them as they held up great. Hopefully the OP used cork pads the entire time....

Cork pads --> YES!

Thanks for the experience feedback, I was having a tough time finding any specific information on them.
