Just throwing this out there. Anyone around 5"10 (size 56) size 10 (I think) shoes with a wetsuit fitting someone around 170-180 lbs around San Diego this weekend not needing their stuff... Super frog racer (my brother and first international race) had his brand new felt IA and all gear lost on air canada.... Still no word of where it is or it arriving on time :(

That truly s*cks... If I was on the west coast instead of on the east coast, I'd offer him stuff.
There has to be a ST triathlete in the SD area that could help (or a couple that could piecemeal it together).

Sorry to hear about your dilemma. Air Canada lost my bike a few years ago and could not find it for 4 days. To compound the problem, they were not going to let me board the plane for my connecting flight since I was not in possession of all my luggage.

Shitshitshit. That's my nightmare scenario. Did you find what you needed?
Next time, place the shoes and pedals in your carry-on. I carry the transition bag as my one carry on piece. Nothing in the bike box but the bike and wheels (no pedals). Makes it easier if the bike box is ever lost. You'd just need to rent or borrow a bike, any bike.
Pro tip: airport security may question clipless pedals because the agent may never have seen them before. Rare, but it happens. Have a set of pedals in the bike box and the carry-on, just in case.
