How do you fit a Dimond bike!?!

I just realized this...they can't go in trainers. How are you supposed to fit the bike?

Use a tape measure and some math to get the contact points where you want them.

You can be fit on the trainer but just not use one for workouts. You can get a set of rollers for workouts.

I love everything about Dimond except that you cant use it on a trainer. As I do 90% of my training on a trainer this is a deal breaker for me :(

2x Deca-Ironman World Cup (10 Ironmans in 10 days), 2x Quintuple Ironman World Cup (5 Ironmans in 5 days), Ultraman, Ultra Marathoner, and I once did an Ironman.

This. That's how to find a frame that fits you. Does dimond fit you? It doesn't fit me. My ideal stack number is closer to their size L frame, and ideal reach number closer to their size M frame. Sure I could make it work with spacers on size M, or shorter stem on size L, but why when there are other frames that fit?

A bike that can't be used on a turbo sounds pretty useless to me.

I will never ever buy a bike that cannot be used on my Wahoo Kickr or any trainer. To me, that's a failure of engineering.

Rollers??

Why would I use rollers when you can use ERG mode on the Wahoo Kickr? Rollers are outdated.

I just went from rollers to a fluid trainer and it is not even close. I was given a set of rollers to start training on and the resistance can't compare to a fluid trainer. Now when i ride outside it feels the same or easier.

Sounds like a personal problem coming from someone who doesn't own a Match Rider.

No ERG mode? No virtual reality integration? No thanks.

It's okay if you put it on there for a fitting. Dimond just doesn't want consistent and hard riding workouts done on the trainer. Noodling around for an hour for a fit is not really an issue.

As for not being able to use it on a trainer... that's not something that concerned me one bit since I never ride my tri bike on the trainer. I can't ride in aero for more than 10 minutes on a trainer. Outside I can ride for hours in aero. Indoors it's torture. So I have one of my road bikes affixed to my trainer 24/7.

A Dimond has no seat tube or seat stays. A trainer puts a lot of stress on the bottom bracket.

ERG is the best thing to ever come to trainers since trainers were invented.
