If that is what passes for being "in touch with other people in reality" these days, we're in the shitter.

The real question. Has anyone figured out how fast you can run and still incubate eggs? It looks like around an 8:30 mile. Any faster and it doesn't register.
My daughter needs to decide if she gets me who does more miles or my wife who runs slower to incubate her eggs.

Uhh, no. I've been out with my son only once and started a conversation with two other people playing the game. People are actually meeting other people in real life and you know, talking. The fact this is happening while walking around and that there are actual goals in the game that require movement, actually quite a bit of movement, is a positive thing anyway you slice it.

No but I was wondering the same thing. I know driving speed doesn't do it but I've not tried running fast or riding a bike. Seems to me there should be a riding bike option or factor in there somewhere.

Google is using it to map every nook and cranny of the civilized world.

That seems accurate I ran today at about 4:30/km and it didn't register and neither did my bike.

I get why they did it but it would be nice if they had more dudes in off the beaten path places. Walk thru a subdivision and they are everywhere, head out onto some trails and there are none. All the "Stops" seem to be in populated areas as well. Not a single one in our field damn it!

Well, if you think about that for a minute (and put on your tin foil hat when you do) it makes perfect sense.
