Does the upgrade work for any crank? Currently have the sworks crankset from my 2013 shiv sworks (2x10 drive). Obviously I need an 11 speed cassette and chain too, but will the crank work?

Should work. I have my Etap mated to a rotor crank and it works. Easiest set-up ever by the way.

Rotor 3d+ crank and no issues. Agreed - easiest setup I've ever done.

I'm using a first gen Force crank with a SRAM 10 speed TT ring, works great.
ETap Aero with circa 2009 SRAM Red 53/39, here. It seems if I don't hit both buttons squarely, the chain may not make the transition to the big ring. This may be due to a myriad of factors other than chainring. In the 80-85% of times--when the shift is smooth--everything is aces.
