I just use Fulcrum 7s. Cheap, reliable, and last a long time. And really not that bad to ride on in any way that I've noticed. For my tri bike, I only have enough money for the 404s I race on. If I had the cash to buy a training set, I would Vision carbon wheels so I don't have to change the brake pads.
