Staying at the Hilton in the Financial District. 2.5 ish mile walk to Marina Green. Thoughts?

My wife didn't go with me to marina. All you do is get on a boat and sit....for a long time. Bring nutrition. A bottle you can trash. Tell her to sleep in and head to transition.

Nope, you'll see 100+ people riding their bike to T1. Parking is a mess. I rode both times about the same distance. Oh, and rode back to hotel.

Riding my bike through empty San Fran with other triathletes is one of my best memories!

My wife had her bike and rode over with me, hung out with me until I got on the bus and then she rode back, had breakfast etc and then walked back to the swim finish (we weren't 2.5 miles though...)
