Anyone know the slot breakdown per age group to qualify for the 70.3 champs at Buffalo Springs? It says 30 slots but how many per age group ish?
Thanks! Juan

It is not determined in advance, based on totals per age group (starters I believe). Some people post what the breakdowns were after the race, you could search that out in the forum to give you an idea of what a typical 70.3 looks like.

3-4 from M35-49. Just stay at awards. I bet there will be plenty of rolldowns.

The race qualifies you for the current year's WC race -- so this year will be qualifying for 70.3 WC in Australia just over two months later. I expect roll downs will go deep....if you finish the race and want a slot, it'll be yours for the taking.

Next year maybe not so much with the WC race being a few states away in Chattanooga, TN.

Based on last year's finishers (according to athlinks), and with 30 slots, here is what I calculate:

F18-24 1
F25-29 1
F30-34 1
F35-39 2
F40-44 2
F45-49 1
F50-54 1
F55-59 1
F60-64 1
M18-24 1
M25-29 2
M30-34 2
M35-39 2
M40-44 3
M45-49 2
M50-54 2
M55-59 2
M60-64 1
M65-69 1
M70-74 1
