Skyline Drive. The entire length just re-opened. It's beautiful.

Make sure you bring and front and rear light, even in good weather. Sometimes the gate attendants require them.

There are options other than just riding on Skyline.

You can take Happy Creek Road to Morgan Ford Road to Howellsville and turn on Blue Mountain road to climb Blue Mountain. This will be a dirt climb for a couple miles, but it is in pretty good shape. Right on Freezland will take you back to 55. Can take 55 back to Front Royal, but that is a bit busy so if you take a right on Dismal Hollow that will bring you back to Happy Creek.

For longer ride you could take left on 55 and take that to Leeds Manor. Can take a left there and go up Naked Mountain. that will run you into 17. Take a left on 17 up to 50. Left on 50. At the top of the climb on 50 you could do an out and back on Blue Ridge Mountain Road which will let you climb Mt. Weather. Could also stay on 50, do a big descent. Right before you cross river take a left onto Howellsville road, which you lead you back to Front Royal again via Morgan Ford and Happy Creek. Few different way to do those loops will give you rides of varying lengths and all are pretty good. 50 is a bit busy, but it is wide and really not that bad.

You could also do Sky-Mass, but that will get you a bit longer than 100k. Skyline Drive to 211 take 211 into Luray. Right on N. Broad Street, left on Mechanic Street, which turns into Bixler Ferry. After you cross river, take a left. Not too long after than you take a right onto Fort Valley Road that will have you climb up and over Massanutten Mountain. At base of climb take a right to stay on Fort Valley and you take that for about 20 miles. Right onto MOuntain Road, then bear left on Rivermount and that will take you back to 340 and basically back in Front Royal.

There's lots of decent riding there. I would recommend looking at Strava or something to see what people are riding.
