Finished on my last leg of travel Tuesday. Good/great show all around. Ready for next season of episodes. All in all, happy with the majority character choices however one or two of them seem forced. I like that it follows the story line pretty well, interested to see which book(s) it follows next season. thanks for telling us/me about this!

truth. She looked like a gangly, awkward stage teen boy in her uniform.

I also finished it yesterday, and after all my bitching and complaining, I have to say that I thought it was great. 5 stars out of 4! I started to appreciate it in epesode 7 and really enjoyed 8, 9, and 10. Can't wait for next seaason.

My only complaints are with Elinore. First, if she is supposed to be a world class gambler, someone that payers come from all over the world to play, she should have been more glamorous when she went to work. She goes to the casino like she's going to clean the rooms. My other prolem is why did they have her gt remarried?! It takes away all the tension between her and Harry. At one point in the books I think I remember her coming to LA to try to make another go with Harry. Well that sure isn't going to happen now!

I binged over the last couple weeks after I finished Man in the High Castle. This was good. Two more season coming. I also read a Bosch Wikia page and see there is huge deviation. Some of it for obvious reasons, too many now don't know much about the Vietnam war or even what a Tunnel Rat was, and a retro setting is to kitschy. But they seem to blend elements from the different novels. The main villain in the first season had nothing to do with the body found in the novels based on reading the wikia.

But overall good, I'll watch the next season. Still can't get over Marlow from the Wire being is cool partner.

You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Towers. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying stripes of venison on the empty car pool lane of some abandoned superhighway." T Durden

If I wasn't such a big Harry fan, I never would have made it past the first pilot. Now that I'm used to slow the way they move the plot along, I can't wait for season three.

For the past year, I've been working my way through the whole Michael Connelly series on e-books from the library. They're much more popular than they were five years ago when I read them all back to back to back. Now I have to wait weeks between each book.
