Because he has so much hatred in his heart for Christians I wanted to show him just how wrong he is and how much love these Christians have for their fellow man. All are Christian charities making huge contributions to the relief effort.

Actually the two are unrelated. Someone can easily make a donation to something without loving the cause. And quite easily I might add. But generally Christians want to do the "right" thing.
