WTB: 60 tooth chainring

Doesn't need shift ramps or anything.. I just want to try it. Needs to be in good shape... for a Shimano 9 speed system.

Exactly, I figure if I ride from here (Calgary) to say somewhere like Austin next year, I'll be traveling almost due south so I'm bound to need such a big gear. I should make it in about 1.5days :) Now, going from ocean to ocean, that would be tough.

Actually, I want to conduct an experiment over the winter since I feel this compact cranks thing is the opposite to what people should be doing. It's just what I THINK, and I DIDN'T stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Sheldon Brown has a magnet that you attach to your top tube to help you go either north or south. ;)

He also has extra small chain and gears to make you twice and efficient. ;)
