Holy cow, it's been a rough go for almost everyone it seems! Hang in there...

I had a fantastic week last week, just to be different (or is that difficult? :-)). Was in El Paso TX with my buddy and his family, got in a fabulous 20miler along the Rio Grande, and a 10-12k trail run up in the Franklin Mountains. Then two solid days of auditing in Juarez MX, so I was pretty bagged after that (a lot of walking and standing on your feet for 8-10hrs/day). Flew home Thurs, had a short run on Fri with a bunch of pick-ups - legs feeling awesome... then... ran the Chuckanut 50k on Sat - I will log a proper RR once I get a bit more time. Needless to say (1) I finished (2) it took me 7hrs (3) the last 10k felt pretty darn good so I'll take that as a positive sign that the training is moving me along towards my goal.

This week - rest and recovery. Ride my bike 4 days this week, easy to & from work, some easy short runs, maybe 10mi on the weekend if I'm feeling up to it.

AP

I found out this week through insurance I get 6 PT visits. I've used 4, which means 2 more before I go to self-pay, which their quote wasn't really bad at all. So we'll see.

My husband and I have iphones with face time. So we do that about once a week. Lots of texting and phone calls. Thank goodness for unlimited text and calling.
